Cyber Security Operations Senior Analyst

The Cyber Security Operations Senior Analyst is a hands-on technical position within the Cyber Security team, led by the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) in the IT Department. As part of a growing team, you will deliver business-focused security services and provide expert guidance on a range of security matters.
This role involves working with our Security Operations Centre (SOC) provider to enhance operational efficiencies, configure/optimize the Security Information Event Management (SIEM), respond to incidents, and handle requests as required. You will also contribute to the effective delivery of various operational services within the Cyber Security and Risk team.
About You- You will have experience working in Cyber Operations or a significant drive to quickly learn and adopt cybersecurity operations processes.
- Experience with security tools such as enterprise vulnerability detection, email security, or endpoint security is essential.
- You must be able to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and curiosity in problem-solving while using a methodological approach to understanding root cause.
- Well-developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, together with proven negotiation skills, are necessary.
- You should have proven experience across relevant technologies including:
- Endpoint security (AV, EDR etc)
- Email Security
- Firewall/Web Application Firewall
- Microsoft Azure
- SIEM tools
- Experience with Linux
- Windows servers, Active Directory
- Networking (routing, DNS, DHCP)
- Scripting PowerShell
