About the Role

As the Electrical Maintenance Coordinator, you will support the Maintenance Fixed Plant Electrical Infrastructure at our terminal. Your duties will include coordination, monitoring, and reporting of equipment reliability performance, resource scheduling, and assisting with prioritization of outages and execution.

About You

We are looking for an outcome-focused, energetic person who is passionate about safety and has the ability to build great relationships within our team. To be successful in this role, you will need to address the following criteria:

  • An overriding commitment to the BHP Charter, health, safety, environment, and sustainable development;
  • A current equivalent Queensland Manual Driver's Licence;
  • A current QLD Electrical Fitter/Mechanic License;
  • Electrical Supervisory experience;
  • Solid experience with Fixed plant;
  • High Voltage Switching Operation Qualification;
  • An excellent understanding of AS3000, AS3008, AS3017;
  • Sound knowledge of Statutory compliance – Qld Coal Mining Safety and Health Act and Regulations;
  • Strong communication skills and a track record of achieving results through using your influence;
  • The ability to successfully lead and work within a team environment and build effective working relationships across multiple trades and departments;
  • Experience with 1SAP or the ability to learn and operate work management software tools;
  • Demonstrated computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project);
  • An Electrical Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering or Bachelor of Electrical Engineering is highly desirable;
  • Cert IIV and IV in Instrumentation and Control is highly desirable.
