Gold Mining Career Opportunity

We're seeking a permanent Underground Mine Geologist to join our Geology team at Sunrise Dam Gold Mine. As a mine geologist, you'll participate in a unique underground grade control process using five underground RC rigs and conditional simulation.
You'll work closely with your Senior Mine Geologist and a skilled, tight-knit team to deliver industry best practices in drill program design, QAQC, database management, reconciliations, and material tracking.
Key Responsibilities:- Demonstrate a strong affinity with AGA values, especially safety.
- Coordinate with the geology and mining teams to execute the mine plan.
- Manage and report daily, weekly, and monthly production activities.
- Undertake underground mapping of development drives and train graduate geologists and underground techs.
- Deliver industry best practices in key aspects of work, including drill program design and QAQC.
We're looking for someone with a relevant tertiary degree in Geology, 2+ years of experience in Mine Geology, and a strong sense of safety. You should have clear and concise communication and written skills, a comprehensive understanding of the mining cycle, and proficiency in 3D software packages like Vulcan, Leapfrog, or Deswik.
Australian Working Rights are required, as well as a Current C class Manual Drivers Licence. The ability to obtain a National Police Clearance is also necessary.
