We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced tax professional to join our Corporate Tax Advisory team as a Senior Tax Consultant. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in advising clients on complex tax matters and developing relationships with Financial Services clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, particularly in the Banking and Capital markets sector, to gain a deep understanding of their businesses and identify potential opportunities.
- Lead multiple engagements of varying size and complexity, providing expert tax advice and guidance to clients.
- Produce high-quality tax opinions and deliverables, presenting to senior leadership teams for review.
- Mentor and guide junior tax consultants, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their careers.
Requirements:
- Previous corporate tax experience in a professional services firm or in-house role, with a strong understanding of Australian and/or other Commonwealth country tax laws.
- Ability to produce well-researched and clearly articulated tax opinions, with a strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Legal and/or commerce degree, with a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.
