Senior Tax Consultant

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Consultant to join our Tax Consulting team in Melbourne. As a Senior Tax Consultant, you will be responsible for providing outstanding tax compliance and advisory services to our growing portfolio of international corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with advisory engagements including tax due diligence, structuring, tax consolidation and thin capitalisation.
- Undertake tax research, analysing and interpreting tax legislation.
- Drafting advice for clients in relation to various Australian taxation issues.
- Corporate income tax returns and associated compliance obligations including International Dealings Schedules.
- Specialised compliance obligations including Country-by-Country Reporting.
- Communication with Clients and regulatory bodies.
About You
- Ideally have a minimum of 2-4 years' experience in a tax role with an Australian accounting firm.
- Completed a Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Law degree (or equivalent).
- Completion of the Chartered Accountants Program (or CPA) is preferred.
- Good working experience with Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Ability to work with others.
- Confidence in dealing with clients and technical issues.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills.
- Willingness to learn.
