We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. This key role involves driving the growth and success of small business customers through excellent customer service and relationship management.
\Key Responsibilities:\- Drive retention and growth of existing small business customers by delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Acquire new business by building strong relationships with referral networks and brokers.
- Manage lending requests up to $2 million, agribusiness lending requests up to $1m, and home lending up to $5 million.
- Evaluate economic value and risk potential of new business opportunities.
- Provide expertise and insights about business options while maintaining a balance between growth and innovation.
- Enthusiastic energy and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Proven experience in business and/or retail/lending banking and finance.
- Excellent understanding of the SME Market and local area knowledge.
- Strong customer and relationship management skills.
- Problem-solving, time management, critical thinking, and negotiation skills.
