Job Summary

This role involves leading the Bulk Material Movement (BMM) work package on the Ranger Rehab Study, optimizing the closure phase of a significant mine site by developing an innovative waste stockpile grade characterization methodology.

  • Develop and implement the BMM plan for constructing the final landform across the disturbed mine site.
  • Collaborate with specialist consultants and mine planners to develop high-resolution stockpile models using Vulcan software.
  • Provide engineering support to construction teams as required.

The successful candidate will have a degree in mining engineering or a related field and 10-13 years of relevant experience.

Key Skills and Qualifications

Strong project management skills, proficiency in block modeling, geospatial analysis, and the ability to influence peers and stakeholders are essential.

Candidates should possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

A bachelor's degree in mining engineering, geology, or a related field, and 10-13 years of experience are required.
