Are you a skilled professional looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity available for a Mining Engineer with experience in Bulk Material Movement (BMM) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of the BMM plan to construct the Final Landform across the disturbed mine site to rehabilitate the pits, ponds, stockpiles and other facilities.

This is a critical position that requires strong technical skills, project management experience, and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders. You will be responsible for:

  • Driving the development and implementation of the BMM plan
  • Collaborating with specialist consultants and site-based mine planners to develop innovative stockpile modelling methodologies
  • Working closely with project planning and scheduling teams to develop and maintain project schedules

As a Mining Engineer in this role, you will have the opportunity to work on complex projects, develop your skills and expertise, and contribute to the success of our organization.

Required qualifications include:

  • A bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, Geospatial Science or a related field
  • 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience
  • Project management experience to drive progress in the BMM workstream
  • Ability to develop strong professional relationships with stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Block modelling and Geospatial analysis
