Are you a seasoned commercial professional with a passion for innovation and strategic delivery? Do you have experience in leading complex programs that drive business growth and revenue? We are seeking a talented individual to join our dynamic team as a Strategic Commercial Delivery Lead.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-impact commercial initiatives that generate new revenue and value. They will work closely with our product team to drive go-to-market execution across B2B and B2C models, requiring expertise in commercial strategy, innovation, financial management, and stakeholder engagement. This role will also lead a multidisciplinary team and mobilise cross-functional resources to deliver complex programs with both strategic and hands-on leadership.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Delivery Leadership: Lead the delivery of product-led commercial initiatives that generate new revenue and value. Drive programs that commercialise data, launch innovative services, and enable go-to-market execution.
- Executive and Commercial Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal product, legal, marketing, and technology teams to shape and deliver commercial offerings. Partner with external agencies and stakeholders to support execution and adoption.
- People Leadership and Team Culture: Lead a layered team structure with direct reports and functional leads. Foster a collaborative, innovative, and accountable culture focused on delivering commercial outcomes.
- Lean Resource Allocation: Deliver programs efficiently using a lean delivery model. Mobilise and scale resources to meet commercial opportunities.
- Portfolio Planning and Performance: Shape a commercial delivery roadmap aligned with product strategy and enterprise goals. Oversee planning, risk management, delivery performance, and benefits tracking.
- Commercialisation and Go-to-Market Enablement: Work closely with product and marketing teams to plan and support service launches. Tailor delivery and readiness planning for both B2B and B2C models.
- Financial and Commercial Oversight: Manage program budgets, financial tracking, and ROI reporting. Ensure initiatives are cost-effective and aligned to commercial targets.
As a Strategic Commercial Delivery Lead, you will be a key player in driving business growth and revenue through innovative commercial initiatives. You will bring a disciplined yet innovative approach to delivering change and value, with a strong foundation in project and program management (e.g., PMBOK, Prince2, MSP, SAFe).
You will have a proven track record in commercialising data, digital services, and products, with a deep understanding of go-to-market strategies across both B2B and B2C models. Your financial acumen is well-developed, with hands-on experience in ROI analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and managing large portfolio budgets.
You will lead high-performing, multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced environments, often through matrixed structures, and build strong, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across business, product, legal, and customer functions. You are proficient in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies, and skilled in tools like Jira, Confluence, and MS Office.
