Retail Facilities Manager

We're seeking an experienced professional to oversee site budgets, finance, maintenance/operations, contract services, procurement, and helpdesk across the VIC & TAS portfolio.

The successful candidate will proactively engage stakeholders to ensure onsite client expectations are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in overseeing site budgets, finance, maintenance/operations, contract services, procurement, and helpdesk across the VIC & TAS portfolio.
  • Engage stakeholders to ensure onsite client expectations are met.
  • Develop effective relationships across multiple organisational levels.
  • Act as the key point of contact for the facility portfolio.
  • Manage vendors to deliver timely services within budget.
  • Conduct facilities inspections within the portfolio, performing audits and assessments.
  • Plan and manage all contracts to ensure they are professionally delivered.
  • Assess contracts to seek best value on behalf of the client.
  • Monitor financial operations to ensure targets and control requirements are met.
  • Recommend continuous quality improvement practices and implement best practice.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications or industry experience within facilities, building, property.
  • Experience working within critical environments.
  • Knowledge of local OH&S requirements.
  • Vendor management experience for specialised services.
  • Understanding of basic technical aspects of property.
  • Ability to interpret commercial contracts and possess financial analysis skills.
