Job Overview:

This is a permanent, full-time position that will predominantly work with road assets. It offers an excellent balance of office and field work.

The role involves managing the condition data of road assets, developing renewal programs, creating tender documentation, managing maintenance programs, and providing advice to project managers.

About the Role:

  • Undertake and coordinate inspections of road assets">
  • Manage acquisition, modelling, and condition data of road assets">
  • Develop and update road asset renewal programs">
  • Create tender documentation and project specifications">
  • Manage maintenance programs for road assets">
  • Provide technical advice to project managers">
  • Liaise with service providers regarding works in the road reserve">
  • Investigate issues and respond to customer enquiries related to road assets">
  • Support the preparation of Road Asset Management Plans">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Demonstrated commitment to high-quality customer service and communication skills">
  • High level of oral and written communication skills to prepare reports for technical and non-technical audiences">
  • Able to work effectively in a team, facilitate information transfer, and coordinate with other team members">
  • Sound judgement, decision-making, and risk analysis skills">
  • Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent (desirable), or several years' experience in managing road assets">
  • Relevant experience in designing and constructing civil engineering works">
  • Current Driver's Licence">
