Facilities Services Cleaner Position

We are currently seeking an experienced cleaner to join our team at the University of Melbourne. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service and undertake general cleaning duties.

  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing exceptional customer service where appropriate
  • Undertaking general cleaning duties such as mopping floors, sweeping and vacuuming, wiping and dusting, and polishing
  • Working autonomously and as part of a close-knit team
  • Maintaining a strong understanding of cleaning chemicals and products
  • Operating floor machine cleaning equipment safely and effectively
  • Ensuring compliance with OHS & WHS guidelines

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • At least 1 year of commercial cleaning experience
  • A strong understanding of cleaning chemicals and products
  • Sound knowledge of floor machine cleaning equipment
  • Competence in OHS & WHS guidelines
  • Excellent detailing skills
  • A proven track record of reliability and long-term employment potential
