About the Role

The Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Safety and Environmental Performance team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve our safety and environmental performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a small data analytics team to build a safety and environmental intelligence gathering and dissemination capability to support ARTC decision-making.
  • Streamline ARTC's Safety and Environmental internal and external reporting processes, leveraging the Horizon360 Safety and Environment system and ARTC Digital Analytics Platform.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with multiple stakeholders, including business and technical functions.
  • Collaborate with the Manager - Safety & Environment Performance to achieve our safety and environmental goals.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing safety and environmental strategies.
  • Strong business analysis skills, including business requirements elicitation, workshop facilitation, and documentation.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly developed analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of data warehouse and Databricks platforms and SQL skills are highly desirable.
