About the Role

PHE Pty Ltd is a leading provider of electrical and instrumentation operations support services across Australia.

We are currently seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Advisor to join our team in Brisbane. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a challenging and rewarding career opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance on HSE matters to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Develop and implement effective HSE management systems and procedures.
  • Conduct regular training needs analyses and manage internal audit programs.
  • Prepare reports, record data, and collect evidence of site compliance.
  • Manage workers' compensation matters, including rehabilitation, case management, and return to work programs.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or minimum Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety and Training and Assessment.
  • Internal auditing training is preferred.
  • Sound working knowledge and understanding of WHS and environmental legislation, standards, and codes of practice.
  • Drug and Alcohol testing qualification or ability to obtain.
  • Return to Work Coordination Qualification.
  • Previous experience in a HSE Advisor role working on industrial electrical construction projects.
  • Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
  • Excellent safety leadership and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to work away from home as required by the company.
