Nuclear Medicine/PET Scientist

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Nuclear Medicine/PET Scientist to join our team across our Braddon and University of Canberra locations. As a Nuclear Medicine/PET Scientist, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and quality patient care, taking responsibility for patient welfare and confidentiality.

Job Description:
  • Perform a range of Nuclear Medicine/PET procedures to produce images of the highest diagnostic quality possible.
  • Interpret requests and perform appropriate procedures in accordance with relevant legislation and department policies.
  • Commit to continuous improvement by maintaining current knowledge and upskilling in new techniques/advances.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field.
  • Effective communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work autonomously and excellent time management skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • A Radiation Use Licence for your state or territory (or the ability to attain one).
  • AHPRA registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
