As an Early Start Australia graduate occupational therapist, you will have the chance to gain hands-on experience in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Job Summary:
We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic occupational therapists to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with experienced clinicians to deliver high-quality therapies to children and their families.
About the Role:
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract position, providing a unique opportunity to develop your skills and expertise as an occupational therapist. You will be part of a close-knit team that values collaboration, communication, and continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to children and their families in a variety of settings, including clinics, homes, and schools.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments and interventions to address the needs of clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A degree in occupational therapy from an accredited institution.
- Eligibility for AHPRA registration upon graduating.
- Graduated in the last 12 months or graduating in 2025.
- A full valid driver's license, with access to your own vehicle with third-party insurance.
- A valid Working with Children Check, or be willing to obtain.
- A clear current Police Check, or be willing to obtain.
- NDIS Workers Screening Clearance, or be willing to obtain.
- First Aid and CPR certification, or be willing to obtain.
- Excellent communication and time management skills, and attention to detail.
