Technical Test Lead Role

As a Technical Test Lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive automation frameworks. You will lead a team of automation testers in a distributed environment and manage effective working relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement automation strategies and plans based on project requirements.
  • Lead test execution and defect management.
  • Implement and maintain an automation framework using Selenium, Cucumber, Rest Assured, etc.
  • Contribute to creating solutions and approaches for proposals on QA for customers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
  • At least 6-10 years of experience with Information Technology.
  • Tertiary qualification in IT/Computer Science/related discipline.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Strong experience in UI, API automation using Selenium (Java), Rest Assured, and Postman.
  • Experience in mobile applications automation using Appium, Headspin, Selenium (Java).
  • Good understanding and experience in creating robust automation frameworks.
  • Experience in API automation testing.
  • Experience in BDD (Behavior Driven Development)/TDD using tools like Cucumber, Serenity, and Playwright-BDD.
  • Experience in scripting/development experience (Java, J2EE, PL/SQL, Perl, Shell, Python).

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Exposure to latest trends in Quality Engineering space.
  • Knowledge on GenAI tools like GitHub Copilot.
