Job Description

We are seeking an Aviation Stores Logistics Officer to join our Helicopters business based in Bankstown.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the supply chain, stores, and logistics of Toll Helicopters equipment, spare parts, and consumable inventory.

This role will support the safety and availability of the Toll Helicopters fleet of aircraft by pre-locating equipment and spares at various locations for use.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the timely actions of the Toll Helicopters supply chain, including aviation and commercial stores, logistics of equipment, spare parts, and consumable inventory to ensure helicopter availability is maximised and records are accurate
  • Self-supervise and bring to the attention of the relevant maintenance manager any non-compliance with Toll Helicopter policy and procedure issues
  • Ensure any maintenance requiring specialist services is carried out by suitably qualified suppliers
  • Complete documentation records correctly
  • Show initiative, persistence, and continuous improvement in all processes
  • Have knowledge of CASA and WHS regulatory requirements and processes as they pertain to aircraft and safety

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Possess good communication skills and conflict resolution skills
  • Possess good technology skills to operate the company ERP system
  • Be medically fit to lift and move heavy inventory items and work in confined spaces and at heights on platforms around aircraft and in vehicles
  • Be able to concentrate and have an attention to detail in all work, as this work is responsible for public safety. A highly organised and systematic person
  • A trade background would be desired
  • Work effectively and flexibly within available time
  • Previous experience working within a warehouse environment would be desired
  • A valid forklift license would be desired
