Job Description:

Location:

Mt Marion is situated 40km south west of Kalgoorlie in the Goldfields region of Western Australia. We oversee all mining activities at Mt Marion, including a spodumene concentrate processing plant with an annual production capacity of 600,000 tonnes.

The Opportunity:

We seek experienced Process Operators with wet plant expertise to join our team at Mount Marion Lithium Processing Plant. These full-time positions offer on-site training and career development opportunities.

The role involves rotating shifts, which include day and night rotations, and Fly In, Fly Out from Perth WA only.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate all plant sections, including:
    • Grinding
    • Flotation
    • LIMS/WHIMS separation
    • Thickening
    • Filtration
    • Control Room
    • Concentrate load-out
    • Tailings disposal
  • Monitor and optimize operations by maintaining high housekeeping standards and conducting daily inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Complete any other tasks and activities within your competency as directed by the Site Leadership Team.
  • Ensure compliance with all Company and Site Rules and Regulations.
  • Participate in hazard identification, assessment, and control.
  • Provide input and feedback for plant and operational improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated safety commitment
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to carry out work instructions and directives to provide satisfactory outcomes
  • Ability to work within a team environment to achieve desired results
  • Flexible and versatile attitude
  • Experience operating forklifts, telehandlers, loaders, and bobcats (desirable)
  • Experience in lithium, gold or copper processing operations
