The role of Clinical Support Professional is pivotal to the delivery of safe and high-quality care across multiple sites. This position will work closely with the Clinical Safety and Best Practice Manager to embed best practice standards aligned with the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing clinical oversight and leadership to ensure seamless implementation of best practice standards
- Supporting the early detection and proactive management of high-impact and high-prevalence clinical care risks
- Facilitating and guiding specialist teams, projects, and initiatives aimed at improving quality and outcomes
- Assisting in quality activities, including audits, documentation reviews, and continuous improvement projects
- Collaborating with staff to ensure residents receive safe, evidence-based, and trauma-informed care
- Completing audits and gap analyses as directed by the Clinical Safety and Best Practice Manager
This role requires a motivated individual who is committed to leading, supporting, and strengthening clinical practice while working collaboratively with the wider team.
Requirements
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) or Endorsed Enrolled Nurse (Division 2) with the relevant authority
- Post-graduate qualifications in Advanced Nursing Practice, Gerontology, or leadership are highly desirable
