Role Summary

We are seeking an Embryology Specialist to join our team of multidisciplinary specialists who collaborate to improve the experience and outcomes for patients with care and compassion.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Biological/Health Science and a minimum of 2 years' experience in IVF embryology, as well as a postgraduate qualification relevant to the field.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work in a patient-focused environment where you will directly enhance the patient experience through providing high-quality embryology and andrology services.

  • Provide exceptional service and care to patients and clients
  • Perform Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) procedures including ICSI & Biopsy
  • Meet productivity, performance and compliance expectations
  • Collaborate with others to achieve the company mission
Key Responsibilities

The Embryology Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Knowledge of ART legislation and clinical protocols
  • Expertise in clinical human embryology services (IVF, ICSI, embryo culture, cryopreservation and andrology)
  • Expertise in embryo biopsy is preferred but not essential
  • Knowledge of RTAC Code of Practice and all Industry compliance requirements
  • Knowledge of Pathology practice and accreditation including NATA and AS ISO 15189-2013
  • Pipetting and fine motor skills
  • An orientation to focus on patient outcomes
  • A critical eye for detail
  • Well-developed communication skills and interpersonal skills Superior organization and time management skills with proven ability to multitask
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills
