Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced education professional to join our team as a Leading Teacher Range 3. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong commitment to improving student learning outcomes and contributing to the development of our school's curriculum program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the implementation of whole-school improvement initiatives related to the school strategic plan and school priorities.
  • Develop and implement curriculum plans and programs that align with the Victorian Curriculum and assessment and reporting guidelines.
  • Provide professional development and coaching to teaching staff to improve teaching and learning practices.
  • Contribute to the development of the school's assessment and reporting policies and practices.
  • Lead the development of curriculum in a major learning area and participate in curriculum development in other areas.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Provisional or full registration from the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
  • Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and implementation.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional learning and development.
