About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing team as an Investment Director responsible for leading the investment in and finance of Pacific's infrastructure transactions, focusing on greenfield infrastructure, PPPs, and renewable projects.

  • Source, develop, and successfully close and invest in greenfield infrastructure, energy, and other complex projects targeted by Pacific Partnerships and CIMIC.
  • Screen energy and greenfield infrastructure investment opportunities, facilitate partner selection, and provide informed and transparent advice to key stakeholders regarding finance, documentation, and risk allocation.
  • Commercial negotiation of key transaction, finance, and/or project documentation, as well as participating in commercial interactions with and presentations to project clients.
  • Secure binding finance commitments on competitive terms, rigorously pursuing alternative and innovative finance solutions that deliver value to clients, Pacific Partnerships, and CIMIC.
About You

Here are some aspects and experiences we are looking for in the successful candidate:

  • Tertiary Degree qualifications in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Engineering, Law, Maths, or Science. Double degree or additional postgraduate studies will be well regarded.
  • Minimum 10 years' relevant working experience.
  • Lead, sponsor, developer, or advisory level exposure to PPP/Energy/Project Finance.
  • Previous debt and/or equity raising experience.
  • Commercial acumen – understanding of the commercial framework applicable to project finance and other financial transactions.
  • Negotiation – ability to conduct complex commercial negotiations with multiple stakeholders, including debt providers and equity investors.
  • Highly developed financial analysis and understanding, as well as ability to oversee financial modelling with prior experience building detailed financial models.
