Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic Opportunity

This is a chance to join a team of skilled mechanics working on heavy duty diesel equipment in the mining industry.

We are seeking an experienced diesel mechanic with strong knowledge of heavy duty equipment. The successful candidate will be based in the Goldfields Region, Western Australia.

About the Role

This is a key role within our organisation, providing maintenance and repair services to clients across the region. As a diesel mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring that all work is carried out safely and efficiently, meeting the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintenance and Repair of Heavy Duty Diesel Equipment
  2. Carrying Out Pre-Start Checks and Maintenance Work
  3. Assisting with Fault Diagnosis and Repair of Equipment
  4. Ensuring All Work is Carried Out Safely and Efficiently
  5. Meeting Quality Standards at All Times
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Cert III in Mobile Plant Technology or Equivalent
  • Strong Experience with Heavy Diesel Equipment in Mining
  • OEM Experience with Brands Like CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, and Liebherr
  • A Valid C Class Driver's License
  • Ability to Pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Assessment
  • Full Australian Working Rights
  • National Police Clearance
