Job Title: Network & Security Gateway Engineers

We are seeking highly skilled Network & Security Gateway Engineers to join our Technology Operations & Support Branch in Canberra.

About the Role:

This is a 12-month contract with an option to extend for 2 x 12-month periods. As a Network & Security Gateway Engineer, you will play a critical role in securing and transitioning multiple business systems and infrastructure capabilities off legacy platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and maintain virtualized server fleets across multiple domains.
  • Provide technical expertise for managing secure internet gateways, data centers, and network services.
  • Implement and support network and gateway systems, including firewalls, SSL gateways, load balancers, and proxy systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and service providers to ensure smooth project delivery and system enhancements.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years' experience as a Network & Security Gateway Engineer.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in designing technical solutions and developing migration strategies.
  • Ability to analyze complex scenarios and develop new processes where necessary.
