About the Role

This key position will oversee employer sales and servicing for an Employment Region, focusing on direct marketing, vacancy gathering and management, development of pre-employment programs, Apprenticeships and Traineeships. The ideal candidate will have proven success in recruitment, sales, community engagement or business development, as well as strong communication and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage effective relationships with employers to maximise employment opportunities for young Transition to Work Participants;
  • Develop and implement high-quality and innovative pre-employment programs suitable for Transition to Work Participants;
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including data analysis and performance metrics;
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve shared goals and objectives;
  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and legislation.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to work with young people, especially those who are culturally or linguistically diverse, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, or have prior offender histories;
  • Strong understanding of the local labour market and its needs and expectations;
  • At least 12 months of recruitment and/or vacancy management experience;
  • Hold a current driver's licence;
  • Minimum Certificate IV in Employment Services or Career Development or Youth (or equivalent).
