Purchasing Leader Opportunity

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for driving purchasing excellence? We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead our buying function and optimize inventory management.

  • Develop and execute strategies to improve cost, quality, and lead times
  • Build and manage relationships with suppliers to secure best prices and services

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee sourcing events and monitor spend to ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and deliver improvements

Inventory Optimization

  • Develop and maintain inventory plans in line with operational requirements
  • Track purchase orders, resolve shortages, and expedite shipments as needed

Reporting and Data Analysis

  • Provide regular reports on supplier performance, inventory health, and purchasing metrics
  • Maintain accurate records and data in ERP systems

Continuous Improvement

  • Drive continuous improvement across purchasing policies and workflows
  • Collaborate with operations and leadership to support business growth initiatives

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
  • Demonstrated negotiation capability and strong commercial awareness
  • Hands-on experience in purchasing or procurement within a manufacturing environment
  • Confidence using ERP systems and strong attention to detail with data accuracy
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities with composure
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced spreadsheet knowledge for planning and reporting
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to drive continuous improvement initiatives
