Job Summary:

The Financial Systems and Data Leader will assist the finance team in modernizing, enhancing, and streamlining its operations while delivering day-to-day responsibilities. This role requires a diverse set of skills in business intelligence, automation tools, data governance, analytics, finance system understanding/support, and artificial intelligence.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the availability, reliability, security, and robustness of finance systems, data, and tools to execute day-to-day requirements.
  • Support the finance team in developing and enhancing data analytics, management reporting, and automation initiatives.
  • Lead project delivery in key areas, including financial planning, ERP system implementation, reporting automation, and other automation initiatives.
  • Establish and enforce robust data governance standards, ensuring data quality, integrity, and privacy across relevant systems and processes.
  • Develop, engage, and progress all team members (approximately 10 FTE).
  • Build collaborative partnerships with stakeholders within finance and across the business.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in management financial reporting, analytics, or a similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Finance qualification and/or experience advantageous.
  • Prior experience with planning tools such as TM1 and ERP systems like JDE or similar.
  • Strong understanding of business and ability to tailor effective solutions to meet requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with external partners and service providers to maximize value.
  • Experience driving transformation initiatives involving multiple business functions.
  • Collaborative mindset to build partnerships with others to meet shared objectives.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and project-management skills.
  • High-impact self-starting individual, resourceful, and solution-driven.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills to ensure high-quality work and professional development.
