About the Role
We are seeking a driven Registered Psychologist to take on a newly developed paediatric clinic-based role in a regional area. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a collaborative primary healthcare team, working alongside nurses, GPs, and allied health professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments to identify cognitive, emotional, and behavioral conditions.
- Provide individual or group therapy to address issues such as anxiety, depression, and behavioral challenges.
- Support clients to develop life skills, social skills, and coping strategies alongside the growing multi-disciplinary team.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, support workers, and family members to create comprehensive care plans.
Requirements
- Relevant Tertiary qualifications in Psychology.
- AHPRA registration and professional indemnity insurance.
- Experience working with the NDIS (desirable).
- Able to supervise provisional psychologists.
- Experience working with children and youth.
- Ambitious and self-driven.
- Outstanding communication and networking skills.
- Excellent writing skills and experience writing reports.
- Medicare number or willing to obtain.
- Eligible to work in Australia.
