About the Role

We are seeking a driven Registered Psychologist to take on a newly developed paediatric clinic-based role in a regional area. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a collaborative primary healthcare team, working alongside nurses, GPs, and allied health professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychological assessments to identify cognitive, emotional, and behavioral conditions.
  • Provide individual or group therapy to address issues such as anxiety, depression, and behavioral challenges.
  • Support clients to develop life skills, social skills, and coping strategies alongside the growing multi-disciplinary team.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, support workers, and family members to create comprehensive care plans.

Requirements

  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications in Psychology.
  • AHPRA registration and professional indemnity insurance.
  • Experience working with the NDIS (desirable).
  • Able to supervise provisional psychologists.
  • Experience working with children and youth.
  • Ambitious and self-driven.
  • Outstanding communication and networking skills.
  • Excellent writing skills and experience writing reports.
  • Medicare number or willing to obtain.
  • Eligible to work in Australia.
