About the RoleThe Tasmania Government is seeking a highly skilled Child Psychologist to join our team in the Paediatrics department. As a key member of our team, you will play a leading role in providing comprehensive care to children and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert psychological services to children and their families, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Work collaboratively with our Paediatricians, Allied Health professionals, and Nurses to provide holistic care.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of each child.
- Conduct research and contribute to the development of evidence-based practices in Paediatric Mental Health.
- Tertiary qualification in Psychology approved by the Psychology Board of Australia.
- Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
- Current Working with Children Registration.
- Holds area of practice endorsement in Clinical Psychologist.
- Postgraduate degree in Clinical Psychology.
- Current Driver's Licence.
