Design and Deliver Water Infrastructure ProjectsJob Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Intermediate Structural Engineer to join our multidisciplinary water team in Newcastle. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the design engineering of water and wastewater treatment plants, reservoirs, hydraulic structures, pump stations and conveyance pipelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Design and review of water and wastewater treatment plant designs, including calculations, modeling and site investigations
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide solutions and services to clients both on and off-site
  • Oversight of drafting and preparation of reports and specifications

About You:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil (structural) engineering
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in water and wastewater treatment and/or conveyance design
  • Knowledge of safety in design, constructability and operational practices and relevant Australian standards and WSAA codes
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate across a multidisciplinary team
