About the Role:

Roy Hill, a leading mining company in Western Australia, is seeking a highly skilled Superintendent for Engineering and Projects to join their team. This role is based at the Roy Hill Mine, where the successful applicant will be responsible for supporting the delivery of sustaining capital projects for the Processing Plant operations.

The Asset Management team at Roy Hill is looking for an experienced professional who can lead a team of Project Leads and Engineers, identify development needs, and coach, mentor, and support them to improve their knowledge, skills, or performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a portfolio of brownfield projects from initiation to execution, safely within budget and schedule, utilizing the project framework principles.
  • Lead a high-performing team of Project Leads and Engineers, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
  • Support the development, reporting, and tracking of project execution plans, contracting and manning strategies, finances, and schedules, with a focus on stakeholder engagement.
  • Participate in Safety in Design reviews, HAZOP/ID, CRAW, and other health and safety-focused activities as part of delivering projects.
  • Supervise the transient workforce as part of various projects and initiatives, including online and offline works, across the Processing operations.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in project supervision and management, with a proven track record in project execution supervision in processing facilities.
  • Experience leading a high-performing team and working within operational and brownfields environments.
