Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of our high-volume Bistro + Bar, conferencing, and events at SkyPoint. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service, quality, and integrity are consistently delivered while building and maintaining a collaborative team culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Delivery: Ensure an exceptional level of service and efficiency is always delivered, while maintaining a high standard of product quality and presentation.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and coach a variety of roles both front and back of house to foster a passionate team of professionals and inspire future leaders.
  • Marketing and Sales: Develop and oversee the implementation of marketing and sales initiatives to drive business growth.
  • Operations Management: Monitor and develop systems and processes to ensure all Food and Beverage areas comply with applicable health and safety regulations, legislation, and company policies and procedures.
  • Business Development: Proactively identify opportunities to grow and improve our business.
  • Staffing and Scheduling: Work with the Venue Staffing and Scheduler to ensure appropriate staffing levels working within budget.
  • Recruitment: Recruit and hire new team members.
  • Venue Preparation: Oversee venue preparation and maintenance to ensure the venue looks its best.
  • Business Operations: Oversee the wider business operations in the absence of other department heads.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Minimum 3 years leadership experience within a similar high-volume customer service/hospitality environment and a demonstrated, hands-on ability to effectively lead, coach, mentor, and develop teams at the front line.
  • Service Excellence: Passion and enthusiasm for delivering an outstanding guest service experience and experience in instilling and maintaining a positive and professional service culture within a fast-paced, high-energy team environment.
  • Financial Management: Previous experience working to wage and COGS budgets, while driving sales and performance through sales-based initiatives.
  • Disciplinary Knowledge: A proven ability to work across multiple disciplines (event, food & beverage, and guest service operations).
  • Communication Skills: Exemplary communication, interpersonal, conflict resolution skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Display exceptional attention to detail and be a highly organized individual.
  • Technical Skills: Experience working with POS database systems and competent cash handling/management abilities.
  • Certification: Current RMLV or ability to obtain.
