Job Title: Fiscal Support Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a part-time Fiscal Support Specialist. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting experience, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing fiscal support across various functions of our organization, including daily financial operations, reporting, compliance, and process improvement initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our organization by ensuring accurate and timely financial information is available to stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Daily Transactions, Payables, Receivables & Payroll: Manage accounts payable, ensure timely and accurate supplier payments; manage accounts receivable, issue invoices, and follow up on outstanding debts.
  • Process and Reconcile Accounts: Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant employment and tax regulations; reconcile bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts.
  • Reporting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports; contribute to budgeting and cash flow forecasting through accurate inputs and analysis.
  • Projects & Collaboration: Work collaboratively with internal teams on cross-functional finance projects; maintain and update the Chart of Accounts and cost center structure.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar Accountant role (month-end experience essential)
  • Prior experience working in the not-for-profit sector highly regarded
  • Progress toward CPA or CA qualification highly valued
