Job Summary

Echocardiographer/Vascular Technologist Position Available

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Echocardiographer/Vascular Technologist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing echocardiography studies at various locations in the local community. This will involve demonstrating an understanding of cardiac disease processes to obtain complete acquisition of images for clinical diagnosis by the interpreting cardiologist.

The Mobile Echocardiographer will operate portable ultrasonic equipment with cardiac capabilities at patient's bedside or other designated exam settings, preparing images for reading by radiologist or requesting physician, transmitting images and all required associated documentation to cardiologist in a timely manner according to protocols.

Additionally, the candidate will take good care of vehicle, ensuring that it is well stocked with necessary supplies prior to each shift.

Requirements
  • To qualify as a mobile Echocardiographer, the individual must meet all state-specific and federal requirements for training, education, competency, certification, and state license to perform.
  • This includes:
  • Adult Cardiac Sonographer with a satisfactory completion of an accredited non-invasive cardiovascular training program, with a focus in adult echocardiography, abdominal, and vascular ultrasound studies
  • ARDMS registered in adult echocardiography with RDCS (AE) designation OR CCI registered with Cardiac Sonographer designation required
  • Two (2) years' experience as a cardiac sonographer or vascular tech preferred
  • Additional Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
