Diagnostic Imaging Professional

A diagnostic imaging professional plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care by performing portable x-rays and diagnostic imaging exams at diverse locations.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient service.

  • Conduct portable x-rays and diagnostic imaging exams using state-of-the-art equipment.
  • Determine proper electronic and technical factors based on patient needs, ensuring accurate results and minimal radiation exposure.
  • Prepare accurate physician and patient orders, transmit readings as required, and maintain timely documentation.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, customers, and other healthcare professionals to provide seamless patient care.
Requirements:
  • Meet all state-specific and federal requirements to perform portable x-rays, including registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist RT (R), and/or state x-ray license (if applicable).
  • Maintain a valid state-issued driver's license and a good driving record.
  • Possess physical stamina to move or lift equipment up to 50 pounds and work varied schedules that may include evenings, holidays, and weekends.
