About the role
The Loan Kit Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all required loan kits have arrived prior to surgery.
The Loan Kit Coordinator manages the receipt, check-in, tracking, preparation prior to CSSD processing, and check-out/dispatch of all loan kits within the Operating Room Suite.
This ensures that all loan kits are tracked, components are accounted for, and kits are returned complete to the respective company.
Key responsibilities :

Accountable for the accurate receipt of loan kit goods into the hospital.
Responsible for check-in, tracking, and preparation of loan kits prior to CSSD processing.
Ensure all loan kits are checked out and complete before return to companies.
Maintain knowledge of the current AS 5369 standards.
Maintain good working relationships and communication with the department and other areas.

Essential Criteria :

Experience in CSSD and Loan Kit management.
Certificate III or higher in Sterilising Services.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to coordinate with company reps, doctors' rooms, and the clinical team.
