About the Role


We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with expertise in tailings management and slurry pump systems to join our team at Engineering Personnel.


Key Responsibilities:


As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will lead and manage the planning, design, and assessment of tailings storage facilities and slurry pump systems for mining and resource projects. You will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, sustainable engineering solutions. Your responsibilities will also include preparing and reviewing technical reports, designs, and specifications related to tailings and slurry systems, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest industry standards.


Qualifications and Experience:


To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical / Mechanical or a related discipline, and a minimum of 10 years of experience in tailings management, slurry pump systems, and related areas. CPEng registration or eligibility is a significant advantage. You will also need strong knowledge of regulatory standards and best practices within the mining and resources sector, as well as excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
