Job Title: Accommodation Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Accommodation Coordinator.

The successful candidate will play a key role in providing exceptional living experiences to students, and delivering outstanding customer service to our agents and partners.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage Homestay and Student Residence requests and placements
  • Liaise and communicate with host families and ensure successful placements
  • Facilitate Homestay extension requests from current students
  • Manage and deal with accommodation questions, issues and complaints and escalate to appropriate team members as needed
  • Manage underage student placements with special duty of care, and in accordance with ESOS Act regulations for underage student placements
  • Arrange airport pick-ups and drop-offs for students, including supporting weekend arrivals with the emergency phone
  • Deal with requests for cancellations and calculate refunds, as per ILSC policies
  • Answer advisor, agent and registration questions about accommodation
  • Update accommodation software with inquiries, reservations, confirmed bookings, changes to bookings and cancellations
  • Manage and process weekly Homestay family payments
  • Proactively problem-solve Homestay and residence issues with appropriate family or residence partner
  • Maintain harmonious relationships with Homestay families
  • Proactively sell ILSC residence rooms to on-campus students
  • Meet KPIs for confirmation issuance prior to arrival
  • Support the Homestay Emergency Phone with after-hours and weekend calls (1 to 2 times per month)
