Job Title: Technical Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Advisor to join our team. As a technical leader, you will play a critical role in shaping the engineering direction of projects and driving innovation.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply advanced engineering techniques to solve complex configuration and data management challenges.
  • Lead and influence configuration control activities in support of Defence capability assurance and sustainment.
  • Represent KBR and LEA at key technical forums and defence working groups.
  • Provide expert technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and designers.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of configuration management strategies, frameworks, and policy compliance.
  • Act as a technical ambassador, fostering collaboration between teams and driving continuous improvement in engineering processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 7 years' relevant engineering experience, preferably within Defence or complex systems environments.
  • Strong understanding of configuration and data management principles across the system lifecycle.
  • Experience with Defence technical regulations, engineering frameworks, and asset management systems.
  • Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional technical teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Membership (or eligibility) with a recognised engineering professional body.
  • NV1 Security Clearance is essential.
