Job Opportunity:

The Instrumental Music Educator role is designed to contribute to student achievement and connectedness.

  • Provide instrumental instruction to students from Primary to Year 12.
  • Assist in the development and operation of school music ensembles.
  • Support classroom music teachers in preparing students for performances.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated qualifications and experience as an instrumental instructor, with a deep knowledge of various styles of music.

They will possess excellent communication skills, including the ability to develop constructive relationships with students, parents, and staff members.

Responsibilities include coordinating and monitoring the instrumental music program, maintaining daily communication with the Music Leader, and attending relevant school briefings.

Additionally, the selected candidate will be expected to maintain their personal, technical, and performance music skills to a high level, ensuring the maintenance of professional standards and relationships with students, and participating in the annual review process.
