Instrumental Music Instructor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Instrumental Music Instructor to join our team. As an instrumental music teacher, you will play a vital role in developing the musical talents of students.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in instrumental music instruction and experience working with students of various ages and skill levels. You will be responsible for teaching instrumental music classes, providing individualized instruction, and supporting students in their musical development.

This is a part-time position, 1 day per week (6 hours), with flexibility to negotiate the day, although Friday is preferred. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work collaboratively with colleagues, and demonstrate a commitment to professional learning and growth.

  • Duties:
  • Coordinate and support others in respect to specific work functions relevant to the role.
  • Work and collaborate with others in a team environment.
  • Communicate effectively in a team environment, including high-level oral and written communication skills.
  • Possess the technical knowledge and expertise relevant to the position.
  • Provide advice and support to management and other school staff in respect to the work area.
