About the Position

Seeking an experienced oncology pharmacist to support our multi-site clinics. This role involves clinically reviewing patients and their protocols, dispensing medications, and providing education to patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clinically review patients and their protocols
  • Dispense medications and check prescriptions in accordance with regulations
  • Complete medication reconciliation processes, including assisting with stock & inventory management
  • Provide education/counselling to patients
  • Assist in coordinating clinical trials and compassionate access programs
  • Active involvement in research and clinical trials, and our Oncology AMS program
  • Attend Site Selection Visits (SSVs) & Site Initiation Visits (SIVs)
  • Read, understand, review, and adhere to clinical trial protocols relating to investigational product (IP) compounding (where applicable), IP accountability, standard operating procedures, and reporting of the Pharmacy's role in clinical trials
  • Contribute to quality assurance activities
  • Work closely with oncologists to develop and maintain key relationships
