About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Oncology Pharmacist looking to take the next step in their career. This is a multi-site role supporting our Northern Beaches (at Frenchs Forest) & Southside (at Miranda) clinics. The role will report to Head of Pharmacy and working hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm.

What is involved
  • Clinically review patients and their Oncology protocols
  • Dispensing medications and check prescriptions in accordance with PBS regulations
  • Complete Medication reconciliation processes, including assisting with stock & inventory management
  • Provide education/counselling to patients
  • Assist in coordinating clinical trials and compassionate access programs
  • Active involvement in research and clinical trials, and our Oncology AMS program
  • Attend Site Selection Visits (SSVs) & Site Initiation Visits (SIVs)
  • Read, understand, review, and adhere to clinical trial protocols relating to investigational product (IP) compounding (where applicable), IP accountability, standard operating procedures, and reporting of the Pharmacy's role in clinical trials
  • Contribute to quality assurance activities
  • Work closely with, developing and maintaining key relationships with Oncologists
  • Dispense
  • Assist with stock/inventory management
  • Compound aseptic cytotoxic and non-cytotoxic products in a laminar flow hood
