Telehealth Nursing Specialist Role

A dedicated nursing specialist is sought to support Australians with chronic conditions in a telehealth setting. Our organization focuses on solving key healthcare challenges, including fertility and behavioral change around chronic conditions.

We have helped hundreds of thousands of patients globally by combining technology, design, and clinical support to enable access to care wherever patients are.

This role offers the opportunity to work as part of our online medical support network of qualified specialists. You'll have the ability to work from home or from our office and choose shifts that fit your schedule (minimum of 15 hours per week).

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct telehealth consultations with patients, including assessing, screening, diagnosing, and prescribing medication as necessary.
  • Adhere to our platform guidelines and policies and complete all required training.
  • Provide an exceptional clinical experience for patients through the delivery of prompt and empathetic care on the platform.
Requirements
  • Australian Citizen / Australian Permanent Resident / Temporary Resident.
  • Qualified Nurse Practitioner with AHPRA registration without restrictions.
  • Demonstrated experience in primary care conditions; telehealth experience is a plus.
  • Ability to obtain a provider number to facilitate pathology testing only.
  • Valid medical indemnity insurance.
  • Skilled at using technology to deliver care and communicate with patients.
  • Ability to make timely and accurate referral decisions based on clinical expertise; able to manage stressful situations.
  • Strong communication with patients, health professionals, and team members.
