**About the Opportunity**

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Utility/Cleaner to join our team in Mackay region and nearby suburbs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including housekeeping, kitchen hand duties, dining room service, and tavern operations. They will help maintain a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for village residents and work closely with team members and supervisors to meet service standards and exceed customer expectations.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a range of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and safety.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors to achieve service standards and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required.

Requirements:

  • Essential Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a remote setting or the hospitality industry (preferred).
  • Must be an Australian Permanent Resident.
  • Must have a valid police check issued within the last 3 months or be willing to obtain one.
  • Must pass a Queensland Coal Board Medical and Functional Assessment.
  • Standard 11 surface mining induction or willing to obtain.
  • Safe Food Handling Certificate.
  • RSA Certificate desired.
