Job Description

This Senior Research Officer position requires a PhD qualification with at least 5 years' postdoctoral research experience in designing, executing, controlling and coordinating complex multisite research studies. You will have understanding, awareness and experience with ethical, legal, and social implications of research involving Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams to design and execute research studies.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander champions, health services, and policy sectors.
Requirements:
  • PhD qualification with at least 5 years' postdoctoral research experience.
  • Understanding of genetic healthcare and data sovereignty principles.
