About the Role

**Among other duties, your key responsibilities will include**:

- establish and maintain strategic collaborative research partnerships with universities, research centres, and other key agencies;
- contribute to the communication and dissemination of research within the department and other audiences, including convening regular research forums to promote research, its findings and implications for policy and practice;
- participate in project teams involved in the formulation of innovative and workable research and policy options and solutions and provide direction, guidance and technical leadership to project staff; and
- establish networks and liaise with senior officers or other departmental representatives in a range of government and non-government agencies on research and policy implications of submissions to the Minister, the Director-General and senior officers of the department.
