Payroll Officer

Job Summary:
The Payroll Officer will be responsible for full end-to-end payroll processing for approximately 400 fortnightly EBA staff and 500 monthly staff across the Civica business.
The ideal candidate will have impeccable attention to detail and be able to work in a demanding and fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end payroll processing, including calculating payments in line with Enterprise Agreement, Awards, Legislation, and any other contractual obligations
- Review, scrutinise, and prepare Payroll Upload Data working files (Leave, Timesheets)
- Set Up, Update, and Maintain Employee files
- Maintain payroll working files, spreadsheets, and registers
- Email inbox management
- Providing exceptional customer service and support to staff and management on general payroll related queries
- Investigate and resolve payroll queries in a timely manner
- Undertake any other duties, as directed by the Payroll Manager
- Prepare any related statutory reports and payments
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and reporting entities (ATO, Centrelink, Superfunds, ADP)
- Adhoc admin tasks
- Cross train and provide Payroll support across Civica ANZ entities
- Ensure all confidentialities are assured in all matters pertaining to Payroll and Personnel
Corporate Responsibilities:
The candidate is expected to observe and comply with Civica's Information Security policies and processes.
