Clinpath Pathology is a leading provider of pathology services, seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Specialist to join our team. As a Phlebotomy Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and private practices.
Key Responsibilities- Collect blood samples from patients in a safe and efficient manner
- Operate laboratory equipment and perform quality control checks
- Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and laboratory staff
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve departmental goals
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain expertise
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow quality processes
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
- Right to work in Australia
- Current National Police Certificate
- Current South Australian Driver's License
- Minimum basic computer skills
- Experience in private pathology or a Certificate III in Pathology Collection
- Willingness to undertake vaccination, including for Influenza & COVID-19
